When FedEx air may fit
Express air service can be practical for samples, replacement parts and time-sensitive shipments where the buyer values speed and door-to-door tracking. A final quotation still requires packed dimensions, actual weight, destination postal code and the selected service.
When a buyer-appointed forwarder may fit
Importers with an established logistics partner may prefer to control consolidation, routing, customs coordination and final delivery. The buyer should provide the forwarder's contact, receiving instructions, warehouse address, booking process and document requirements before the goods are ready.

Actual and volumetric weight
Air and express charges can be based on the greater of actual or volumetric weight under the carrier's rules. Bulky products such as cue cases may therefore cost more to ship than small accessories with the same scale weight. Early estimates should be updated after final packing.
Documents and import responsibility
Confirm the consignee, commercial invoice details, packing list, shipping marks and buyer-supplied import instructions. Under a DAP quotation, the named destination must be clear, and the buyer should confirm responsibility for import clearance, duties, taxes and unloading in the accepted commercial documents. Buyers should obtain local advice where necessary.
