What a 500-Piece OEM MOQ Means for Billiard Buyers

MOQ means minimum order quantity. For customized billiard gloves, chalk, cue cases, cue tips and cue extensions, Fojve uses a standard MOQ of 500 pcs. That number is a starting point for project review, not a promise that 500 pieces can always be divided across unlimited colors, sizes or designs.

Why an MOQ exists

Custom production includes setup work before the first sellable unit is completed. Material purchasing, color preparation, artwork, printing, packaging and machine or line setup all create costs that must be distributed across the order. An MOQ helps determine whether the project can be produced at a workable unit cost.

500 pieces does not automatically mean 500 variants

A request for 500 pieces in one color and one package is different from 500 pieces split across five colors, four sizes and two logos. Provide the quantity for every variant so the supplier can confirm whether combinations are feasible.

Project Questions to resolve
Billiard gloves Hand orientation, finger style, size and color mix
Billiard chalk Formula, shape, color and pieces per pack
Cue cases Capacity, construction, color and packaging volume
Cue tips Diameter, hardness and package count
Cue extensions Connector, length, weight and finish

What is usually included in the quotation

  • Product specification and approved variants
  • MOQ and quantity breakdown
  • Logo and packaging basis
  • Sample fee and sample schedule
  • Unit price and payment terms
  • Bulk production estimate
  • Shipping basis and destination

Do not compare unit prices unless the quotations cover the same product, package, quantity and inspection requirements.

Samples are separate from the MOQ

A sample is used to approve the product before bulk production. Sample development normally takes 7-15 days and the fee depends on the customization required. If a sample-fee credit will be applied after the bulk order is confirmed, the condition should be written in the quotation.

Production planning

Normal bulk production is 30-35 days after the sample, artwork, packaging and payment requirements are approved. Revisions restart part of the approval process and can change the schedule. A standard 50% deposit applies to the bulk order.

How buyers can use the MOQ effectively

  1. Prioritize the variants most likely to sell.
  2. Use one core logo and package structure where possible.
  3. Provide a realistic size or color mix based on customer demand.
  4. Separate launch quantity from future reorder estimates.
  5. Ask whether variants can be combined before finalizing artwork.

Request a feasibility review

Send the category, total quantity, quantity by variant, logo, packaging and destination through the wholesale inquiry form. Use the RFQ preparation guide to avoid missing information.
