OEM cue extensions must fit the intended cue system and meet an agreed dimensional specification. Buyers should resolve compatibility before choosing color, finish or logo because a visually correct extension can still fail at the joint.
Provide more than a brand name
A cue brand or model can help identify the intended system, but it is not a complete manufacturing specification. Provide a connector drawing, measured reference or physical sample. Critical details can include thread, pilot, shoulder, insertion depth, diameter and alignment.

Define the product position
State whether the extension is intended as a lightweight travel accessory, a more substantial balance adjustment or a general retail item. Material choice should follow the intended weight, feel, durability and price position. Requests for metal, carbon-fiber-style, wood or combined construction remain subject to technical review and sampling.
Branding without trademark risk
Use buyer-owned artwork for OEM production. A third-party cue name may be used in internal compatibility notes, but its trademark, logo or branded packaging should not be copied onto the extension. Product pages should describe compatibility accurately without implying authorization that has not been established.
Sample approval
Sample development normally takes 7-15 days. Test the sample with the actual cue when possible. Record fit, alignment, overall dimensions, weight, finish, logo and packaging. If several connector types are required, each may need separate confirmation.
MOQ and production
The standard customized MOQ is 500 pcs. Buyers should state the quantity for every connector, length, color or design. Whether variants can be combined must be reviewed during quotation. Bulk production normally takes 30-35 days after the sample and all commercial requirements are approved.
Inspection and shipment
Pre-shipment inspection should compare the production lot with the approved specification and sample. Confirm quantity, dimensions, connection reference, appearance, logo and packing. FedEx air shipment or a buyer-appointed freight forwarder can be discussed. The standard trade basis is DAP, with alternatives negotiated by project.
